Knauf IntRwall® is a cutting-edge solution for inter-tenancy and corridor wall systems, designed specifically for residential apartments.

This lightweight wall system provides numerous advantages over traditional fire-rated plasterboard and other alternatives. With Knauf IntRwall®, you can lower construction costs without sacrificing performance. Its panelised construction makes installation fast and efficient, with no need for heavy lifting equipment.

The IntRwall® system utilises 25mm Shaftliner plasterboard panels and fit between steel I-studs. The outer linings of each side of the wall are fixed directly to I-studs, or on furring channels or free-standing steel studs. Services are easily incorporated in wall cavities on one or both sides of the wall. 

Knauf advises the use of Rondo steel framing and components to ensure compliance with performance requirements. Designed to be a perfect fit with the shaftliner panel which acts as a fire barrier between the finishing linings, the Rondo 341 J Track has an extended leg to allow for fast and easy installation. 

The addition of Knauf Insulation’s glasswool products to the IntRwall® system gives you access to fully compliant and complete Knauf branded solutions. Knauf IntRwall® satisifes the National Construction Code’s acoustic requirements for inter-tenancy walls, corridor walls, and acoustic separation when installed with Knauf Insulation.
