Conversely, exposed gypsum ceilings (also known as dropped ceilings) have an exposed grid system, with gypsum panels laid onto the frame in a modular fashion, typically in 60x60 cm or 60x120 cm sizes. This type of ceiling is easy to disassemble, maintain, or replace individual panels, making it highly suitable for offices, supermarkets, and factories—places that require flexibility and convenience in operation.
