More than just words, here's what Knauf has done:
Internally, Knauf encourages every employee to cultivate environmentally conscious habits through daily actions such as turning off electrical devices when not needed, conserving paper, and reusing single-sided paper.
Beyond individual efforts, we also organize small to medium-scale events such as collecting used batteries to participate in battery-for-green-plant exchange events at our Hanoi office, and tree planting activities within the Hai Phong factory premises.
Most notably, we are proud to announce our latest company-wide FSR initiative, which brought together over 200 employees from the North to the South to participate in a tree planting project in the Phuoc Buu forest this past March.
Small actions, big benefits! Reforestation brings countless advantages to the environment, economy, and society. By choosing to plant trees in Phuoc Buu – a renowned nature reserve in Vietnam – we ensure that the planted trees will be cared for, protected, and will thrive long-term.
More than just an FSR activity, this is a strong commitment to Knauf's future generations.
Together, not I, but we will create sustainable legacies for centuries to come.
