The Knauf suspended ceiling system is a two-tier metal framework hung from the structural soffit, comprising primary main channels (carrying the load back to the structure) and secondary furring channels (spanning between main channels and receiving the gypsum board directly). The system allows the ceiling level to be set independently of the structural soffit, accommodating services, providing acoustic performance, and delivering a flat, finishable surface.
Fire Resistance Range: NA
Acoustic Performance Range: Up to +20dB acoustic improvement
Suspension Depth Range: Fully customizable based on hanger profile & length to accommodate large services.
