Knauf Shaftwall lines lifts, stairwells and service risers entirely from the accessible side — up to 90% lighter than traditional shaftwalls, installed floor-by-floor with no scaffolding, and certified for the fire performance high-rise buildings demand.
Unlike a conventional partition, the system is built entirely from the accessible (corridor/room) side — the shaft-facing board is installed first into a proprietary framing system, and the framework is then built outward toward the installer.
