Engineered for superior structural stability, outstanding sound isolation, and extensive service integration, the Knauf KW116 is a heavy-duty twin-frame drywall partition. Featuring a double layer of Knauf Gypsum Boards on both sides of a braced, dual metal stud framework, it delivers outstanding robustness and high-end performance for demanding commercial, institutional, and industrial environments.
It is designed to divide spaces that require extreme partition heights, superior acoustic separation, or exceptionally deep wall cavities. The twin stud frames are structurally tied together using cut-piece metal bracing at 1200mm vertical centers, creating a highly rigid, unified structure that strongly resists deflection. This braced twin-frame configuration allows the system to reach impressive heights while providing a massive, customizable void to easily conceal large HVAC ductwork, heavy plumbing, and extensive mechanical services without compromising the wall's integrity or soundproofing capabilities.
