For the implementation of the planning specifications, it was particularly important to find building materials that met the different requirements: on the one hand, they had to be water-resistant due to the high humidity exposure. On the other hand, they had to be flexible in order to accommodate the desired aesthetics. To meet these requirements, Knauf has provided Fire Resistant Boards 15.9mm and Fireboard Glass-mat for enhanced fire protection and water insulation. The Moisture Resistant Board 12.7mm has been used extensively for its superior moisture resistance in areas prone to humidity, while Regular Board 9 &12.7mm has been selected for the building’s interior partitions because of its flexibility and ease of installation.
A standout feature of this project is the extensive use of Knauf’s metal systems. SupraWall and Pro V metal framing systems ensured structural stability and supported the aesthetic demands of the hotel's design, enabling flexible layout options and strong performance across the grand ballroom, restaurants, and meeting rooms.
