Our sustainability commitment

Knauf Gypsum is building for the long term with boards made from gypsum, an infinitely recyclable mineral, making it an ideal product for the circular economy. Our boards carry Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), are fully recyclable, contain no asbestos or substances of very high concern, and have very low VOC content (under 0.05 mg/kg), with a service life of 60 years or the lifetime of the building. Our production is certified to ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management), and our low-emission, indoor-air-quality-certified products help projects earn credits under LEED, Estidama Pearl and Dubai's Al Sa'fat green-building regulations.
