DISTRIBUTION WALL (KM)

Single-Faced Distribution Partitions

KM 72/48 - 84/48 - 98/48 - 100/70 - 106/70 - 120/90

Overview:

Distribution partition consisting of single plasterboard facings from the Knauf range screwed onto a single galvanized steel frame. This frame is composed of top and bottom rails and a network of vertical studs, which can be single or double depending on the desired height. The studs are common to both faces of the KM partition.

Applications:

  • New constructions or rehabilitation.
  • Various premises: residential buildings, public access buildings (ERP), hotels, industrial, commercial or school premises, high-rise buildings (HRB), etc.
  • Interior distribution of spaces.

Acoustic Provision:

On a finished floor, when acoustic performance is sought (regardless of its level), the airtightness of the partition base must be ensured by sealing the gap under the plasterboard with mastic.

Installation:

These partition systems fall under traditional practices described in D.T.R E 6.2.3 "Execution works for plasterboard facings," DTU 25.41 "Plasterboard facing works," and their respective DTAs.

Double-Faced Distribution Partitions

KM 98/48 - 120/70 - 140/90 - 150/100

Overview

These are distribution partitions made from double plasterboard facings from the Knauf range, screwed onto a single galvanized steel frame. This frame consists of top and bottom rails and a network of vertical studs, which can be single or double depending on the desired height. The studs are common to both faces of the KM partition.

Applications

  • New constructions or rehabilitation projects.
  • Various premises: residential buildings, public access buildings (ERP), hotels, industrial, commercial, or school premises, etc.
  • Interior distribution of spaces.

Acoustic Provision

For finished floors, if you're looking for acoustic performance (regardless of the specific level), you need to ensure the airtightness at the base of the partition. Do this by sealing the gap under the plasterboard with mastic.

Installation

These partition systems follow the traditional best practices outlined in:

  • D.T.R E 6.2.3 "Execution works for plasterboard facings"
  • DTU 25.41 "Plasterboard facing works"
