SEPARATING PARTITION (KMA)

Acoustic Partition Walls with Double Linings
KMA 120/48 - 140/48 - 140/70 - 160/48 - 160/70 - 160/90 - 170/90 - 170/100

Overview:

Partition wall designed with double linings made of Knauf plasterboards, screwed onto a double framework of galvanized steel. This system is decoupled and consists of tracks and studs, ensuring excellent acoustic performance.

Field of Application:

  • New constructions or renovations
  • Various types of premises:
    • Residential buildings
    • Public buildings
    • Hotels
    • Industrial, commercial, or educational facilities
  • Specific uses:
    • Separation of premises
    • Interior distribution of spaces requiring high acoustic insulation, such as:
      • Music conservatories
      • Public buildings

Acoustic Provisions:

Resilient strip or mastic under the base rail or angle bracket at the foot of the partition, and mastic at the foot of the partition under the plasterboards.

We remind you that meeting regulatory acoustic insulation requirements does not depend solely on the KMA partition, but also on the design of the structures to which it connects and the design of the connections or junctions themselves.

Installation:

These partition systems are covered by DTA 9/09-885.
