Located in Milan’s prestigious CityLife district, the Libeskind II Residences transform the traditional courtyard model into three sculptural residential buildings. The project demanded both artistic excellence and exceptional performance-energy class A certification, anti-seismic resistance, and weather protection for curvilinear facades.

The Challenge
To tackle one of our most complex luxury residential projects in CityLife - three high-rise buildings requiring innovative solutions for load-bearing structures, including resistance to wind pressures up to 150 kg/m2, advanced thermal insulation, and anti-seismic performance while meeting Studio Libeskind's exacting architectural standards. Additionally, the need was to have fast installation without compromising quality.
Our Solutions and Products Involved
Through close cross-functional collaboration, we developed an integrated façade solution with AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Outdoor, cavity insulation and reinforced skim coats, backed by engineering studies, field testing and coordinated project delivery.
