Your choice of insulation material has health implications both for building occupants and the natural world outside. Meeting the highest standards for air quality and health

Our glasswool batt and roll products are manufactured using our unique plant-based binder ECOSE®, that is low-VOC (volatile organic compounds). Our products were also the first to be awarded the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold Standard Certificate, improving indoor air health for building occupants.

Products made with ECOSE® generate low levels of dust, improving the installer experience. And unlike traditional binders, ours uses no added formaldehyde, leading to our products being named as DECLARE 'Red List Free' insulation. The Healthy Building Network recommends fiberglass (glasswool) insulation and advises choosing products without a formaldehyde-based binder.

Supporting safety and acoustic comfort

Our unfaced glasswool products are non-combustible, as tested to local standards. Non-combustible insulation can help prevent the rapid spread of flames, reducing the potential impact of a fire. And because glass is naturally non-combustible, our products have no need for fire retardants, which can be harmful to occupants and the environment.

All our glasswool products are also sound absorbent, with high Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ratings, helping to reduce noise pollution and improve the wellbeing of occupants.
