The Challenge
For the new factory, the investor was particularly concerned with keeping the energy efficiency of the building, due to its various reduction tasks to realize carbon neutrality in 2050 to fulfill its environmental responsibility for future generations and expand customer value through them. A durable roof solution for the whole lifetime of the building needed to be robust enough to withstand strong winds, weather resistant and mold resistant. In addition, the roof design needed to cover large spans of manufacturing and storage space.
