Earthwool R7.0 and R8.0 Ceiling Batts aim to maximise comfort and minimise energy bills in new homes.

The Earthwool and R7.0 and R8.0 Ceiling Batts are our highest rated insulation solutions, offering ultimate performance and energy saving properties and enabling you to keep your building cool in summer and warm in winter. They are soft, made using up to 80% recycled glass and come in pre-cut rectangles at either 460mm or 620mm widths to suit most ceiling joist centres.

Designed to reduce thermal bridging for NCC compliance.

Both the R7.0 and R8.0 Ceiling Batts are single layer products, designed 'over-wide' to sit over the timber frame and knit together with adjoining batts to form a continuous layer of insulation, eliminating thermal bridging and delivering superior thermal performance compared to double layer systems. This ensures 7-star home compliance under the NCC requirements while also saving time during the installation process.

Extra thick for super high R-values

Manufactured with advanced TwinTech® Technology - a dual forming technique that enables thicker products for evolving building code requirements. TwinTech® ensures there is a smooth finish on both sides of the insulation for optimal product handling and appearance.
