Rondo is Knauf’s solutions partner for steel framing and accessories. Rondo is a market leader in the design and manufacture of roll-formed steel wall and ceiling systems, along with complementary accessories that are supplied to commercial and residential projects, including but not limited to apartments, hospitals, offices, retail spaces, educational facilities, and hotels. 

Specified in all relevant Knauf wall and ceiling systems, they produce lightweight steel for internal plasterboard partition walls to create attractive spaces within a building and have a solution to comply with all relevant Building Codes for fire-rated, acoustic, seismic, and load bearing requirements.

Walls

Rondo steel wall framing systems provide a durable, practical and lightweight structure for internal plasterboard walls to create attractive spaces within buildings, or external wall systems to provide direct support of the exterior cladding and interior linings. The acoustic barrier wall systems are great for keeping noise levels between apartments to a minimum, offer solid support points for heavy additions such as television sets, hand rails and even windows or doors. Rondo Wall Studs are also fire rated and are tested in Knauf systems.

Ceilings

Rondo ceiling systems are highly innovative and of superior quality, with both concealed grid or exposed grid options. There are solutions available to meet acoustic, fire-rated, wind loading and seismic design requirements. Rondo ceiling system products can be used for a large range of installations to make acoustics better, conceal services such as fire sprinklers, air conditioning ducts and electric cabling, and to create a more aesthetically pleasing building.

Finishing Sections

Rondo building board finishing profiles are designed to give plasterers a clean, defined edge on straight or curved details for building board applications. The EXANGLE® range of plastering beads are manufactured to assist contractors in obtaining a strong, straight, knock-resistant corner with a superior finish that lasts. Available for a variety of applications including internal and external corners, shadowlines, archways, control joints, bullnose corners and edge capping.

RONDO-ACCESS-PANELS

Access Panels

Designed and tested to meet the requirements of the Australian National Construction Code (NCC) for both domestic and commercial installations, the standard range features sound-rated and metal-face budget access panels that can be installed in both steel stud and masonry walls and suspended ceiling systems. The fire-rated access panels can also be used in suspended ceiling systems.

Top Hats & Steel Angles

Rondo Top Hats can be used internally or externally and on vertical fascias and soffits. They are often used where there is a higher wind loading or where heavy duty sheeting is to be installed. Steel Angles can be used to strengthen internal corners of façade systems and steel framing requirements for facade systems

Fasteners

Rondo fasteners complement the wall and ceiling systems and are suitable for Safety Critical, Cracked Concrete, Seismic and Fire Rated Applications. Fully code compliant and can be used with internal and external wall framing.
