OUR APPROACH

Reducing Direct and Indirect Emissions by 2032:

We understand that immediate action is crucial to address the pressing climate challenges we face. To set the wheels in motion, we have outlined a comprehensive strategy to significantly reduce our carbon footprint by the end of 2032:

. 50% Reduction in Direct Scope 1 Emissions

We are committed to cutting our direct emissions by half, making substantial improvements within our own operations which involves implementing innovative technologies, optimizing processes, and adopting our way of working.

. 50% Reduction in Indirect Scope 2 Emissions

By exploiting renewable energy sources we aim to reduce the indirect carbon emissions of our most energy intensive processes by 50%

. 30% Reduction in Indirect Scope 3 Emissions

Indirect emissions from supply chain or raw materials play a significant role where collaboration is key to achieving our sustainability goals. We will work closely together with our suppliers and partner companies to foster more sustainable raw materials and supply chains to provide products with a much lower CO2 footprint.

Redesigning Cement Board Technology

As a critical part of our commitment to reducing carbon emissions, we are taking proactive steps to transform our cement board products and lead the way towards a greener future. Recognizing the environmental impact of energy-intensive ingredients, particularly expanded perlite, or cement, we are embarking on a comprehensive redesign process. By harnessing cutting-edge research and innovation, we will replace these energy-intensive components with alternatives with a lower carbon footprint. This strategic change will not only enable us to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our products but also maintain, and potentially enhance the quality and performance that our customers value. Embracing these carbon-reduced solutions, we are excited to set the foundation for a more sustainable construction industry while driving positive change in our fight against climate change.
