Knauf remains committed to its plans to withdraw from Russia. In a very challenging environment, the company is examining further possible options to implement this withdrawal in accordance with the applicable sanctions, while safeguarding the interests of its employees in Russia.
For the time being, the Russian business is managed locally and separated from the Knauf Group’s other businesses, in full compliance with sanctions. Since announcing its withdrawal, the Knauf Group has not received any profits from its Russian business. In accordance with the applicable sanctions, which Knauf strictly adheres to, no goods have been exported from Russia to the EU or imported from the EU to Russia.
