Description & Details
Knauf MultiShield is a gypsum board with the combined benefits and properties of FireShield and MoistureShield. It is suitable for wall and ceiling applications where both fire and moisture resistance are required. Knauf MultiShield is manufactured in accordance with ASTM C1396.

- Dual resistance (fire & moisture): combines reliable fireresistance and splash/humidity protection
- Reinforced high-density core: contains glass fibers andadditives for durability and added fire resistance.
- Formulated with water repellent additives and encased in specified moisture-resistant face and back liner papers
Moisture-resistant and fire-rated wall and ceiling systems in toilets and bathrooms. MultiShield Gypsum Board can also be used in institutional projects.
Ideal for interior partitions in environments that are exposed to humid conditions and require fire resistance, such as high-rise buildings, retail spaces, hotels, and schools.
Fire-Rated Walls & Ceilings: MultiShield partitions and ceiling systems comply with the Fire Code of the Philippines when joints and fasteners are correctly spaced and taped. Supporting structures must meet or exceed the required Fire Resistance Level (FRL) for optimal performance.
Not recommended for use on high moisture exposure applications such as group shower, indoor swimming pool and sauna.
