Our sustainable glasswool insulation is made with up to 80% recycled glass, obtained from local sources, which helps to re-direct more of the material from landfill. In our Asia-Pacific manufacturing facility, our state-of-the-art melter works with a wide range of recycled glass, further supporting waste reduction.
Insulation off-cuts are fed back into the manufacturing process, rather than being discarded, and we use rainwater as wash water throughout the facility, reducing the need for external water sources.
When it’s finished, our insulation is wrapped in 100% recyclable plastic and our industry-leading technology compresses it at a 10:1 ratio, reducing the amount of packaging required. Once on site, our pre-cut insulation can be easily fitted to standard joist widths and off-cuts used to fill gaps, minimising waste during construction.
Innovations like these have led to our products achieving the Global GreenTag GreenRate Level A certification.
