Graded School Indoor Swimming Pool

High-Humidity-Resistant Ceilings Strikes Gold.

Founded on 1920 by the American Chamber of Commerce, in Partnership with six American companies, Graded School is a private, co-educational, non-sectarian, non-profit day school that follow an American curriculum with instruction in English.

With a vision of empowering young individuals to reach their potential and make a positive impact on the world, the Graded School of São Paulo takes every step necessary to achieve this goal. Upon completing their athletic centre and indoor swimming pool, the building was equipped with solar heating systems to warm the swimming pool and the water in the changing room showers.

Inside the swimming pool area, there were three key challenges to address: the necessity for a hygienic, high-humidity-resistant ceiling solution that provides excellent sound absorption to reduce the inherent noise in such spaces. The result is a pristine-looking environment that invites pupils to excel not only in sports but also in academics, allowing them to perform at their best.
