Our quarries focus on recultivation – selectively restoring beneficial ecosystem functions, reforestation and renaturation, where the goal is creating a more natural or close to natural state. Our goal is not only to comply with legal requirements but also to go far beyond them in promoting nature conservation. Knauf Gips is a member of Biodiversity in Good Company and have specialist roles within the Knauf Group focusing on biodiversity.

Plasterboard should be separated from non-gypsum waste, as together they can form a toxic hydrogen sulphide gas. Please check the product data sheet for the EWC and recycle plasterboard separately. If you are a DIY customer, please check with your local council for your local plasterboard recycling requirements.
