Our new partnership with Reconomy aims to ‘close the loop’.
Where economically and environmentally viable, Reconomy will aim to deliver waste back to one of the gypsum re-processors that Knauf work with. We then buy back the gypsum to use in new plasterboards.

Yes, Reconomy’s network is able to take all of the Knauf plasterboard variants. In some locations, for specialist boards, the reprocessing options may be limited, so Reconomy will speak to you about the options available in your area.
Yes, Reconomy have a network of waste management contractors in UK & Ireland.

No, this service is aimed at larger project work. If you are a DIY customer, this service is unfortunately not suitable for you, and we would recommend checking your local council guidelines for plasterboard recycling.
