United Airlines aimed to create relaxing, aesthetically pleasing havens for premium passengers at Heathrow Terminal 2B, prioritising acoustic comfort away from airport noise.
Knauf Ceilings’ solutions were key to achieving this. Perforated METAL MicroLook 8 tiles and sound-absorbing bespoke METAL R-H 200 systems effectively managed lounge acoustics and visual interest.
Installed on sleek canopies, METAL R-H 200 in a refined Pearl Beige (RAL 1035) colour and a brushed satin finish offered a modern and timeless design. Modular METAL Q-Clip F panels in Signal White (RAL 9003) provided a clean aesthetic, complemented with a refined shadowline perimeter trim.
These solutions significantly enhanced the comfort and ambience of United's Heathrow lounges. Effective acoustic management created tranquil spaces, while the stylish and integrated designs contributed to a premium passenger experience.
