Knauf UK and Ireland has been included in the Financial Times Statista UK’s Best Employers 2026 list. The award recognises our company’s people‑first culture, an approach that underpins the product innovation and service support essential in building safer, sustainable spaces where we live, learn and care.
This UK accolade, compiled from extensive, independent employee feedback, shows that the same high bar is being met locally in our teams that support architects, contractors, distributors and merchants across the UK every day.
Emma Delany, People Director, Knauf UK & Ireland, said:
“We are delighted to be included in this prestigious award list. Being named one of the UK’s Best Employers by the Financial Times and Statista is a powerful endorsement of the culture we’re building at Knauf, and a reflection of the specialist expertise and partnership approach our people bring to customers across the country.”
We continue to take practical steps towards greater diversity, inclusion and empowerment, to create a culture where everyone is respected and supported from apprentices and operational roles through to senior leadership.
As part of International Women’s Week 8-14th March 2025, we welcomed inspirational speakers and delivered a dedicated wellbeing programme for colleagues.
Dr Jo Salter MBE, the first female fast‑jet pilot in the Royal Air Force and now a senior leader at PwC, shared her powerful story of breaking barriers, transitioning into a leadership role in business and highlighted the importance of pushing for change in traditionally male‑dominated environments such as construction.
In addition, a series of wellbeing activities, including Soundscape Meditation sessions and express reflexology, provided our employees space to focus on their mental and physical health.
We continue to grow and create long-term career opportunities for people at every stage of their working lives, from school leavers and apprentices to experienced professionals looking to take the next step in their career. A wide range of roles are available across manufacturing, engineering, technical support, sales, logistics and central functions, all supported by structured training and clear development pathways.
Our apprenticeship scheme is helping to develop the next generation of local talent. Four apprentices recently completed their programmes with us, including a Process Technician, Maintenance Technician, Technical Support Officer as well as an Engineering Apprentice providing these young people with a route into skilled, well‑paid careers close to home.
Alongside new starters, we are proud of its long‑serving experts who have built their careers within Knauf and are now shaping the highest standards for the buildings where we live, learn and care.
