Knauf Insulation has held the BES 6001 certification for its entire mineral wool insulation product range, manufactured across its three UK sites, St Helens, Cwmbran, and Queensferry since 2017.
The scheme is recognised by the BREEAM family of certification schemes and the Code for Sustainable Homes. This important accreditation demonstrates Knauf Insulation’s commitment to ethical and responsible manufacturing, covering:
Knauf Insulation sources over 90% of its constituent materials from suppliers with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accreditation, which awards it the maximum credits allocated for quality and environmental management within the supply chain. Working with its supply chain has been one of the key factors in Knauf Insulation's improved rating for the certificate.
